Wild by Cheryl Strayed.. If you like wandering in the woods alone, just go do it, but if you love a real armchair (or treehouse) adventure, here’s your next. Strayed hits her true path, and you will love to follow.

Joel Gardner, LitSnap Editor

"I was reduced, during her book’s final third, to puddle-eyed cretinism. I like to read in coffee shops, and I began to receive concerned glances from matronly women, the kind of looks that said, “Oh, honey.” It was a humiliation."

The New York Times

"In Wild, Strayed recounts the road to redemption—a road buried in snow, crawling with rattlers, and patrolled by bears—with humor and irrefutably hard-won wisdom."

Vanity Fair
